Dehydration even during winter months is always a severe
hazard. Most of us don't drink enough water as it is normally.
With periods of ghost hunting all night putting unusual stress on the body and
mind, water is absolutely key to success.
First Aid kit.
Must always have a first aid kit for simple cuts and scrapes.

Flashlights
Flashlights with red light are good because red wavelength
light does not lesson your night time eye sensitivity. These have both
red LEDs and white that are operable with independent switches and use AA size
batteries.

2-way Radios
It is important to stay in radio contact in case of
emergencies. There are many FRS/GSRM radios on the market. None of
the radios meet their theoretical advertised range capability but some do
better than others. We have used many different brands in our
professional careers and I've never been satisfied with any of them. So
after reading several reviews I've decided to try the Midland brand.
We'll see how they do. Testing so far is promising.
